Annandale’s Anzacs | Horace ‘Homer’ Rogers

H H Rogers was bom in Balmam but was living in Annandale at the time of his enlistment. His father, Frederic Graham Rogers, lived at 216 Johnston Street, Annandale.

He attended school at North Annandale Primary where he was in the senior cadet forces. His occupation was a clerk.

When requested for further information by the War Memorial, his father referred them to the Reverend Rook.

He died at Ecoust near Bullecourt France.

The tablet was unveiled on 7th December 1919.
